Established in 1980, started operations in May 1981 with only four (4) personnel, and with only one vessel to begin with, CSI has grown to what it is now with 36 full time personnel supplying crew needs of 145 vessels with at least 1811 seamen on board at any one time of which at least 550 are officers. From a humble single room office space rented in Port Area, Manila, It now occupies a 5 story building in Sta. Mesa, Manila. Of the 145 vessels mentioned above, 90 are vessels of Evergreen of Taiwan of which CSI is the sole manning agent in the Philippines.
Aside from Evergreen, CSI has four (4) other Japanese principals and another Taiwanese principal, which account for the other vessels some of which have been with CSI for more than twenty (20) years, attesting to the trust and confidence they have on CSI.
From time to time, Capt. Reynaldo D. Casareo, CSI’s President and other Marine Superintendents do business trips to visit principals and at the same time market the company to other prospective customers.
