EGS MARINE CORP. was incorporated in 2007 to serve as the ship management arm under the EGS umbrella to manage the fleet of company-owned research and survey ships . The company was issued a Certificate of Registration by the Securities and Exchange Commission on June 27, 2007 and subsequently, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) issued its Certificate of Registration and Tax Exemption (CRTE) being a 100% foreign-owned corporation. Its primary role is to make sure that all vessels are properly maintained , vessel spares and consumables are delivered on time . Its office location situated inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone serves as the distribution hub of all vessel spare parts and consumables. Also proper monitoring of vessel audits, drydocks, refit and repairs including crewing of all vessels which are manned by all Filipino crew is done in this office. Basically, EGSMC performs monitoring, documentation and distribution job and does not involve any hazardous operation. Building 693 serves as an office and safekeeping facility. |
