This is a merger of Barber Ship Management, which is part of Wilhelmsen Maritime Service, and the 160 year old Philippine company Smith Bell Group.The introduction of Barber name in the Philippines is to strengthen the position of Barber Ship Management to the Philippine seafaring market thru the supervision and expertise of Smith Bell group.
Before the consolidation of two companies, Barber Ship Management has been awarded International Employers Award by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration in 2002 and Ministerial Commendation by the Department of Labor and Employment in 2005 for giving unparalleled support in terms of employment and benefits to our Filipino Seafarers.
We are manning vessels such as PCC, PCTC, RORO, VLCC/Product/Oil/Chemical/LPG/LNG-Tanker, Bulk Carrier(Capesize ,Handymax), Container Vessel and Seismic with DP.
