KJCM MARITIME CORPORATION was formed and organized in May 2001 and was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission on the 1st June of the same year. The corporation was duly licensed by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration under POEA LICENSE number 091-SB-053102-NL.

KJCM MARITIME CORPORATION’S mission is to compete globally with other agencies in three ways first, recruit/screen and prepare for employment the highest quality crew applicants second, follow up on contracts and crew placements with ship owners and principals to fulfill our quality commitment and third, maintain high standards by guaranteeing our placements and striving to meet each principal’s full satisfaction.

Our company is composed of technical experts in shipping who have served on a variety of vessels. They are experienced crew members and their experiences prepare us to meet the principal’s needs and satisfaction specially for facilitating travel documentation and deployment. In short, our expertise and background prepares us to answer shipping principals’ increasing demand for efficiency, integrity and reliability.

Through affiliations and accreditation by the Philippine Government, not only are the seamen trained to be responsible but they are also taught proper working conduct and appropriate attitude in meeting the demands of their job as well as their superiors.

KJCM Maritime Corporation assures each individuals of full support from the time of hiring up to departure in order to boost their morale. Problems and grievances are treated with confidentially in order to maintain peaceful, smooth and harmonious relationship among superiors and subordinates.

SERVICES OFFERED
As a service oriented organization, KJCM MARITIME CORPORATION developed a One Stop Shop Service hub in which the following services are offered

Pre-screen, interview, train, test/evaluate, and select highly qualified applicants for the different categories. Selection criteria are based on standards qualifications the Principal will set.
&#61656 Subject the applicant to an English proficiency test to assure adequate communications with both the employers and other workers.
&#61656 Subject applicant to extensive pre-employment training test and orientation to ensure real job experience on different job categories.
&#61656 Obtain travel and exit passes from Philippine Overseas and Employment Administration for those medically cleared applicants who are selected.
&#61656 Process all the necessary travel clearances as may be required by the governments of workers and employers.
&#61656 Process and obtain worker’s passport from the Department of Foreign Affairs.
&#61656 Process and obtain Seaman’s Book for applicants.
&#61656 Orient and assure prospective workers full knowledge of U.S. Public Health Procedures.
&#61656 Guide and assist applicants to obtain Basic Safety Training/Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (BST/PSSR) certificate, etc.
&#61656 Make booking arrangements and obtain airline tickets for the worker upon receipt of payment from the principal.
&#61656 Conduct a through pre-departure orientation for all contracted workers among others, the following will be discussed
&#61656 Brief history, customs and traditions of the people or places workers may possibly in contact with in their journey.
&#61656 As much workplace information the principal will provide and would like us to share with the workers including but not limited to company policies and work decorum.
&#61656 Contract of employment-Discuss in detail the provision of their employment contract.
&#61656 Report fully to the Principal each progress on the status of the recruitment and documentation process.
&#61656 Give full assistance to the workers at their port of embarkation to avoid unnecessary and costly delay.
&#61656 To represent the principal in many process with any government’s agency or office to assure prompt and efficient implementation of our Agency Contract.
&#61656 Process and obtained worker’s U.S. visa from U.S embassy if required by principal.

The challenges of the new millennium inspired us to chart pathways to make every Filipino aspiring overseas employment reach their dreams of a better from their families.

Today, it cannot be denied that the collective contributions of overseas workers catapulted our nation into another economic milestone. Before us, therefore, is the impervious task to build an environment consistent with the nourishment and growth of this contribution.

KJCM MARITIME CORPORATION is commissioned not merely to recruit, hire or deploy seafarers on board any vessels for foreign employers but more importantly, to provide orientation, knowledge and skills for overseas workers which they need to be able to face the multifarious concerns involved in overseas employment such as, extended family separation and anxiety, work habits and expectations and exposure to diverse culture. Our goal is to make the service of every worker meaningful and productive.

The time honored saying, that “the chain is as its links as the ship is as efficient as its crew” is the bedrock on which our business philosophy rests. We believe that competence and concern for the welfare of workers is the ultimate source to which productivity resides when a seaman and his family is treated well then the seaman will be inspired to work well. It induces a healthy working environment as it enhances a more lasting employer-employee relationship.

All these and our hands on approach in every detail of our transaction, our broad choice of training parameters and personnel who are seasoned by years of technical and real work experience in the industry assures with certainly proficiency, efficiency and discipline of workers which undoubtedly are geared towards employer’s satisfaction.
